Guest Blogging in SEO

Hey, I'm Sachin.

Over the last 2 years, I’ve published over 100 guest posts. I think maybe you aware about Guest Blogging. Guest posting is still one of the best ways to grow your audience and drive traffic to your site.

So, what is it, how do you do it, and what should you know about it?

What is Guest Blogging?

Guest Blogging means posting on another person’s blog as a guest. You contribute your website content to someone’s blog and in return, you get external backlinks to your own blog. Guest blogging is about building relationships. You are networking with other bloggers and making new connections with his audience which help to drive more traffic on your website or blog.

Is Guest Blogging Good for SEO or Backlinks?

This is the best practice for Off-page SEO and backlinks creation. Guest post is the white hat SEO technique that does not lead to penalizing your site. When we contribute our content in another blog then we can include a link back to our website. That means this can have a positive influence on our Google rankings.

So you think just contribute your content to another blogger site enough for your website ranking? My answer is no no no...

Before contributing your content to any other website you have to follow some rules for a good relationship with the audience. Because I think an audience is everything for a blogger. So, first of all, you need to check their website and your niche is related to that website or not. I have shared some steps on how you can find good blogs for your post.

First step:

Go to the google search bar and write your niche related topic like digital marketing and write a string "write for us"

After that click, the keyboard "Enter Button" Google will give you the best results related to your niche Now you will see a list of blogging websites where you can contribute your content.

Step 2:

Now the next step is to click on the website and check the Domain authority of the website.
Domain Authority(DA) is a search engine ranking score developed by Moz that check the good website rank on search engine result pages (SERPs) also called search engine result first page. Domain Authority predicts many factors including linking root domains and the number of total links.
