Google testing new search menu with icons for maps, news, shopping and more


Google going to use icons next to results categories. Do you see them?


Google is testing the new search bar menu and icons next to the name of the search categories. Now, Google will not only show the search vertical filters for displaying news results or only image results, but Google also showing icons next to those categories.

This is a new search result interface with icons.

Going to back time: You know that Google has made many changes over the years. Google use icons with search filters but they remove these in 2010 on the desktop and in 2012 on mobile. They again going to use these icons with the search filters.  

Does it matter? 

yes, If the company do any change to the user interface of one of the most used web sites in the world will be noticed by the audience. Will it impact on the search marketers? No, it does not impact on SEO or search marketers but it will give the fresh look to the search engine results page.
